Sand_YFZ Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Got bored and picked up another frame. Built a Junkyard Dog long travel YFZ450..Everything was either bought on Central, Tech, or Ebay:lol My friend wanted to do a frame up build and started buying parts. I think he realized it was more work that he was willing to do so I bought what he had purchased from him and got started. Painted the frame Candy Red with a multi color red flake Bought a bunch of parts and built a 04,05,06,07 Pump Gas Engine:lol Cut my Kickstart Harness Started Final Assembly Quote

dunefreak Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 That thing turned out awesome, Aaron. I always get motivated to build a bike seeing your builds...then I never do anything about it. LOL One of these days! Too many damn hobbies- it's hard to do em all. Quote
ynot Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Aaron, what kind of costs did you incur for the suspension and axles/A-arms etc.? Quote
Sand_YFZ Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 I traded out labor on Mikes engine rebuild for all the long travel stuff..Got the +4 Dominator axle with the parts i got from my buddy to begin with..Pete if you or Chad ever decide to build a YFZ OR Rappy 700 im in..Just let me know Quote

It runs very well for what it is. Its just a stockbore pump gas engine, 07 head, stock cams, CRF carb, Pro Design style airbox eliminator, with a Woods Shorty I made. Its pretty quick. But the best part about it is its a very light setup and with the width and suspension it handles amazing. Its very easy to ride at a fast clip with little effort. Quote
