ahsumtoy Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I am new to this game. Just got my rail. Will have it out for the Dumont Cleanup. I have a 4 seat long travel with a Redline 450 hp engine. It came with 14.50/15 extremes in the back and STU razor's in front. When I asked the owner of the company what I should run, he said 12 lbs if I want to hook up better but 15 lbs all around for better handling and turning. Oh, they have bead-locks all around if that makes a difference. We'll find out next week. Quote
90+ PLUS Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 we run 6.5 psi if we put any more the tires just spin Quote
raptoroy Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 on mine 8 hooks up but 10 allows for a little spin which is how i like it for dunning Quote
OGP Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I like to run 8 in the rear and 4 or 5 in the front. THis really helps with all of the chop. Makes it much smoother. I am running 33 sandblaser in the rear and razors in the front. Of course mounted on beadlocks. Quote
Randog Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 My situation: Car under 1600 lbs FRONT: Xtreeme apex 11-12 lbs. no beadlocks. tubes. Flintstone shaped wheels from dropping the car durring wheelies. ......... Rear: STU 1300plus comp-cut 11-12 lbs yes beadlocks no tubes slime, slime, slime R- Quote
SandBox_Kid Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 I know this is an old topic, but I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for tire deflators? Quote

I've been thinking about getting a kit like this for our Sprinter van. It removes the valve core so they deflate much faster than the ones that screw on to the valve. Looks pretty easy. https://amzn.to/2Q29c6Y Quote
DuNe~Rydher Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I unfortunately had to use one of those a couple trips ago Pete. They work GREAT. I'll be picking one up. Quote
joblo Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 If you can fit this in the hole of your rim or just drill it out some if needed , you could use these. It unscrews in the middle just below the cap and will let air out super fast. Quote
trackrider307 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 I have a V6 long travel woth beed locks and pretty much both in Dumont and Glamis i like 11psi in front to grab a little when i turn and about 18psi in the rear that will give you the little slide.
