Randog Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 Not sure what I'm going to do: I spanked the trans bearings my first season with the 2D. Had it rebuilt, and now I got 2 seasons on it since then. Anyways I'm debating having it gone though again. Some say do it, some say don't. I am pulling it out of the car to do the clutch anyways. Also: Heims need replacing (as always). I should buy a new front wheel or two (Flintstones). They got tubes. :dance: My brake pads are worn on an angle. I've heard they may jam the caliper pistons if I let it go. Repack suspension bushings and wheel bearings. Just Mike Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 I just got rid of the tiki car and picked up a Sand Limo. I have replaced the belts, front tires with three ribs, got a gps coming, new tires for the rear coming and got it painted. It has a Nissan VG30 turbo in it. barneycar Posted September 6, 2007 Author Share Posted September 6, 2007 well summer is almost over and sand season is almost here and I did not get all that I wanted done. got the gears done tires and the trans built new rack is done and fixed the bump steer. the new motor is not done so I put the old one in for now. I need a rear sump oil pan and a set of headers while it is out I'm going to put a new cam and heads and a few more things on it before I put it in. for now I hope the things I did help a bunch can't wait to go for HALLOWEEN .
