I think it has to be a ROLLOVER. If my son was a member I could put him on here because this one time at Dumont he was on his quad and was going up a dune, when he got to the top he went for a nice long powerslide that actually look cool until the tires grabbed and threw him off down hill and then the qduad ROLLED OVER him but he isn't a member so it doesn't count.

Ok, this happened quite a few years ago way before the dunes were as popular as they are now. My G/F and I went on Jeep ride to the north dunes. We were out there and no one was around so we stopped and got the blanket out. Well let me tell you there is nuthing finer than than being on the dunes with a fine lady and warm sunshine on your a##. Toes in the sand etc I am sure you get the picture. Anyway on the way back as I came over the dune the sand sort of shifted and as I came back onto flat ground the rt. corner of the jeep went over and away we went. We did about 1.5 rolls and tore the crap out of the jeep. The hood came back in and banged her on the nose but no broken bones. Luckily I had just put a heavy duty roll bar and we were wearing seatbelts. I was able to give a call out to the other Jeep club members on my cb and they came to the rescue. It was a little embarrasing to explain what we were doing out by ourselves :D but if I could do it all over again I would prefer just the first part but it was an exciting ride both times!! :beercheers:

Can I take a shot at your club?

1. I was driving my trail jeep in dirt when the hillside gave way. I steered into it But it got to steep and I went over the hood.

2. I was at Pismo giving my wife her first ride in the dunes. I was doing some side hill and caught an edge and put the jeep on its side. I was lucky enough to have my wife in the air and not in the sand.

3. I was giving a guy a ride (John somebody) just met him 5 minutes before. I was in a long side hill drift and the motor stuttered. That was enough for the front end to settle and toss us over. I yell to the guy to put your head down and keep your mouth shut.( nothing worse than a mouth full of sand). When we stop I ask are you OK. and he Yells THAT WAS GREAT!.

These are all in my trail jeep. I have not yet flipped the race jeep.(but I have been close)

Well what do you think?

When you flip the race jeep we'll put you in. :DDR_rocks!: J/K

You're in

Well Chuck now wants to join the roll over club.

We were at Pismo messing around and Chuck got sideways and rolled the tire off the bead. He went over three times at speed and landed on the wheels(rims). You might notice that he didn't even break the flag whip so he was flipping in the air. No injuries except to Chucks pride and wallet. He was giving a ride.

What a ride!

Perhaps alittle more than that. The rear axle had all of the four link and locating bars sheared off and the radiator support is bent back into the motor. The oil pan is smashed and the air cleaner is folded to the side. I need to check the motor in detail before it is back. The fiberglass body just laid back in place to hide most of the damage.

I ve never rolled...but I do have a good story.

Recently one of my shops jobs was to repair a roll over. A 77 gmc jimmy. The owner rolled it up in redrock. I replaced the roof, the doors, fenders, and repaired the quarters. Now it has a pretty cool paint job, airbrushed sheet metal panals/revets, and flames coming down over the sheet metal. Im just finishing up the roll cage now, it will probably be done at the end of the week.

some people love their trucks.
