I have a set of 35" BFG ATs in the garage. Bought them as a spare set for my hummer, sold the hummer still have the tires. They are mounted on 17" chrome oem hummer wheels that fit any GM 8 lug. Tires only have about 100 miles on them. Brand new. Let me know if anybody can use them. Make me an offer

i work at a dealer and can get more than a few bucks off and we sell road hazard pretty cheap, let me know and i'll look into it for anybody

I need to get a set for the front on my truck, and I plan to do it this weekend. If you can save me a couple of $ that would be great.

:bump:

Well, first off I'd like to thank lvnalolife for the hookup at Discount through his buddy. :D

BUT, one big problem....the 305x65x18's rub....bad. :dope::laughing: I thought the 305's would only be a SMIDGE bigger (about a 1/4") than my 33x12.5x18's and not rub because they are about a 1/4" narrower as well. I thought I'd have no problem....WRONG. The tires hit the metal part of my rockers- gay! I'm not about to start hacking up my truck. It already has the fender liner trimmed and that is as far as I'm going. :no_no:

Luckily the guys down there are cool and are gonna help me out. I had to leave my truck there because they didn't have any tires in stock that would work. Oh well I guess.

It looks like I might try out the new BFG KM2's. They make a 305x60x18. That is basically the same exact size as my 33x12.50 Toyos I had before. I wanted to go with a A/T tire this time, but it looks like I have to go with a M/T if I wanna stay with a 33. :dunno: They don't make the A/T in the 60 series for some reason.

I have a headache. This has not been my week. :dope:

Just got home from Discount. I got the 305/60/18 BFG M/T KM2's.

So far they ride great and aren't too loud. For mud terrains they are pretty quiet. They don't look too different from my Toyo MT's I had previously. I think they actually fit better. They don't look as wide. Overall I'm happy.

The only downfall is that I had to pay extra for these tires (if I wanted them today) because Discount had to get them from a different supplier here in town. Otherwise my truck would have been sitting down there till Monday for them to be ordered. So in the end it was another $169 MORE for a grand total of $1506.66. :beerpint::bawl: :porn: :thumb:

Anyone who is ever thinking of getting 18's or even 20's.....punch yourself in the face and stick with 16's or 17's. It would hurt as bad as replacing tires on larger wheels. :dope:

I'll take some pics tomorrow in the daylight. :D

I guess that's whay they put those little tires on the chevy to begin with...I think you need a 3" lift and then you are good to go..

No, you can fit way more tire under a stock truck with a few turns of the torsions. 33x12.50's (or 305/60x18's fit) no problem with some minor trimming.

Yeah I noticed the Toyo's where looking alittle worn down last weekend and you towed your car up to Utah in the snow...u crazzyy. :D

They've been "worn down" for over a year now. They still drove fine though. I have been waiting to get new ones until absolutely necessary. Didn't you just read how much I had to drop down. $$ :porn: You'd wait too! :beerpint: And no, the roads were dry in UT. Car? huh? Whatchoo talkin about? :dope::bawl: :boyyy: :thumb:

HOLY CRAP 1500 bucks for tires... DAAAMMMNNNNNNNNN there goes the tax money!!

tax money? :thumb: nope...more like most the cash from my vacation check back in November! No vacation for me this year. Yaay tires. :bawl::beerpint:

Yep, 1500. You should drive a big truck with 18's too. Dumb as f*ck! :dope:

$286 a tire, plus warranty certs, plus the azz rape charge or "shipping" as they call it to get them in town, plus a small fee for mount/ balance= $1500 :porn:

definatley sucks.. On the other hand you did get bfg's and they last a helluva lot longer than 20k miles :D so you shouldnt have to worry about these for quite a while..

The Toyos last too...you just have to keep up on those rotations. Thats with any tire though. I think I ended up getting about 33K out of the Toyos but they got cupped at like 15K. :beerpint::thumb:

I am definitely gonna stay on top of the rotations with these though. Every friggen oil change! I'm not messing around.

You're crying about $1500. Wait til I have to replace them on the BDT! I think they are around $450 a tire! And I hate to say but it will be sometime soon. :banghead: I am just glad they have lasted for as long as they did. I think I have had them on there for about three years now.

Now that's just retarded. Stupid BDT! :broke:

PETE... YOU gotta post up a pic of your truck with the new meats on it

i bet it looks badazz!!!

:banghead:

Hell heah, I'm digging the new tires. They ride and handle really well. I think I like them better than the Toyos. Or maybe I am just keep telling myself that because I just dropped 1500 bucks. :ban-split::broke: Seriously though, I really do like em. They don't stick out as much as teh Toyos did. -Better in my book. :D

Pics are coming right up...
