*QUICK QUESTION WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE SOMETHING SNAP OR JUST BEND ITS LIKE (BOLTS) PEOPLE THINK GRADE 8 BOLTS ARE THE BEST ON THINGS BUT IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOUR DOING WITH THEM. SOMETIMES HAVING GRADE 5 STRETCH IS BETTER THAN HAVING GRADE 8 SNAP. SOMETIMES THINGS ARE BUILT THAT WAY FOR A REASON. *EXAMPLE: BRAKES alot of people like using lifetime warranty brakes on their cars, but what happens is. the brakes dont wear out,BUT the rotors do. which is cheaper to replace. (answer) not the rotors. Sorry, I just think different than most. ***He is right you do need to anneal the metal afterwards to strengthen it. but otherwise let it cool (slowly) dont throw water on it to cool it off otherwise it will snap when or if it breaks. I dont believe in sleeving things.

Thats why when you build these buggies they should be (PRE-STRESSED) but dont think many do that. send me pics of where its at. i'll look at it I can bring my welder out if its fixable. i wont charge you anything. but do send pics of the crack. let me know asap

SORRY GUYS I like my front engine rail. it has plenty of power. go to SANDROCKET.COM STEVE there has been building buggies for many years, he has 4 seater sandrockets and 2 seater rockets. with those you typically dont have any (trans) problems if so get a built chevy trans much less money than a mendi. you dont have to shift them either put it in drive and GOFAST..... The only other (rail) I would buy is a Funco. they dont have problems either. not trying to cut anyones buggy down you understand !!!!!! But (Sandrocket and Funco) are the best in my opinion. I like the having (SOMETHING DIFFERENT) than what most peeps have anyway. cause im MENTAL. :ban-cha:

PERSONALLY I wasnt there at comp sat nite but, you know what you dont have to fess up to anyone in this club about what you do. unless your (representing) the club did you have a (ddr) shirt on or hat or something. if not. then dont worry about it. you dont have to answer to anyone but you. the (taller) the tire the (less) torque your going to have. get a smaller wider set of tires.

Well when I pulled up at the south pole, I felt kinda like a fish out of the water you might say. but as soon as I got there some of you peeps came up to me and made me feel welcome. and introduced yourself to me. I want to thank you for doing so. you all seem like great peeps. I went and visited Kirk's camp, Boy does he put on a (great spread.) FOOD & BIG SCREEN MOVIES from what I hear he's a good cook too. Just to let everyone know I've got my BLOWER rebuilt and back on my rail. now I have all my HORSIES (HP) back. I was very worried I would'nt have it fixed by pres day. although my rail is plenty fast enough without the blower. It just isnt the same as with one. My rail now goes at least 5 mph's up comp. YEAH RIGHT......
