there has been enough interest in rhino racing that SNORE is going to have them race on the infield at the start finish line of the first race next month at primm. it will be 15 minute races during the time they are working on the track between races. run what you brung and race for a trophy. details to come later.

wont make it. damn! gonna be co driving in the first SNORE race of the season, the battle at primm. not a bad trade off if things go good. the guy i am driving with just started racing last year and had some real bad luck. hopefully we can do good and at least get some good racing in. im gonna miss being at the dunes with the crew and our new friends. :angry:

im actually working the race both days at a road crossing. plan on going to the leap thursday night, but i have to go back that night because i have to work friday.

do you have a cool head on yours? if not make sure you get one on there. you can overheat on a good hard ride. im learning this stuff the hard way. i even put an inline cooler on mine.

i bought my v force 3s new off ebay. were about 20 bucks cheaper than rocky mountain. there are a bunch of different ebay stores selling them. might be worth a look see.

its 40 bucks if you buy ahead of time, 50 at the door. a few years ago a guy working there behind the sands expo where all the trucks deliver stuff snuck me in for 20 bucks. worth a try. go on sunday and stay till they close. you can get freebies.

a great weekend. no kids or grandkid to worry about. just me and the wife. started to feel real crummy though after a ride with the wife saturday. just cant pull it off anymore sometimes after staying up till 2 in the morning drinking beer. damn getting old! felt alot better in the evening after a few beers and a couple of shots. got some better sleep that night. the banshee wasn't running like i like it but after changing to colder plugs and bigger jets it ran better sunday. still need to go bigger on the jets. the wife got some good riding in and did real good. even went up over to comp from the back side. she was proud. meant to go visit the tres hermanos but never made it before they left. will make it a point to next trip. and nothing broke this time out! yaaa. the old motor home did good again but i still give a big sigh of relief when we get back and park it.

it was raining everywhere last pres. day weekend, pouring in pahrump where i keep my motorhome, poured all the way to dumont, but when we finally got to the sand it was just cloudy and didn't rain while we were there sat. and sun. you just never know till you get there.

apparently rhino's are racing at other events on their own without other race vehicles on the track. they had a race at a CORR event in san diego and was popular. SNORE says if there is enough interest that they would put on a demo race.
