Have you heard about this?
Richard Cheese replied to racegirl04's topic in Dumont Regulations, Safety & BLM
I see it from the other side of the fence several times, up at hungry valley ohvra, it is common place to see little ones, less the 8, zipping around camp, without supervision, running into cars, trailers, quads, rhinos......................it gets ugly A friend of mine had his toy hauler hit and dented pretty bad by a 5 yr old on a 90. the parents were 1/4 mile away, out of site, shhitfaced drunk, and wanted to fight my friend. the ranger ended up having the sheriffs dpt haul the drunkards away, but my friend still has a dent in his hauler. -
Lemme hear some input...

here is a set tire deflators they are not exactly what I have, but similiar. My wife got mine for me for x-mas a couple years ago....... the ones I have, you set the pressure you want it down to. you put them on, and drive with them, then when pulling into the soft stuff, you get out, get your deflators, and you are ready to roll!!! p.s. sorry it took so long bob...I didn't see the one post where you asked until just now!!!

I know some people who actually named their kid that name :rainbow1: poor fella!!!

well, with the state of CA, be thankful that we still have Dumont, although, I wouldn't be surprised if, in the near future, other groups will attempt to shut it down too (which has already started????)

there are times when I won't get stuck, then go into the same exact place, and get stuck. there is no rhyme or reason to it it just happens
-
I hear you on that one. I wonder what the process would be to attempt to open them back up???
-
I take truck and trailer down to 15 psi. that is what my deflators are set at, anyway. last time @ dumont, I had to air down to get out. got stuck pulling out
-
it isnt the new torqshift that they put in your truck, is it?

how wide are the 6 inch wheels? bolt pattern? thanks -
Sup Chad a couple months ago, at Oceano Dunes, this guy with a brand new Ford SRW 350 crew 4x4, and what looked like a brand new FSC 28 footer WW pulled onto the beach, and immediately became immobilized. As I was heading over to help him, he did the forward/reverse thing a few times, and had sand up to his rims. The dude forgot to air down!!! I plugged my deflators onto his truck, then his rig, and within 10 minutes, under his own power, he pulled out. funny what taking away some air will do

who has the best deals on Paddles
Richard Cheese replied to badass24racing's topic in ATV / Motorcycle Talk
what type of quad is it? I know that certain types of paddles don't work too well on my quad when I bought my DS, it had Sand Geeko's on it. they did worse than stock tires aired down!!! I had to stop my bike in the flats, or on a slight downhill, because, if not, I would get stuck. The skat trak extremes work really good with my bike. -
echo that

Richard Cheese replied to raptoroy's topic in Toyhauler/ RV Talk
the cool thing about WW too, is if you buy new, you can add extra length onto it in sections of 2 ft like a WW 32fsw +4 extra feet in the back!!!!! 36 ft tow behind!!!! -
its all my fault!!! i strayed the herd
-
sometimes, it is the simplist things too

thats what I was gonna say. the carb needs to be cleaned out completely. all the little orifices need to be cleaned that happened to my generac. luckily, my fiend took my carb apart, cleaned it, and it fired right up!!! I think also one way to get rid of this problem is to replace your steel or aluminum tank with a plastic tank that would fit in the same area.
-
Then WTF you use for a dune hauler? An MDT???
-
here as some pics of the 35's on the stock suspension
