  2. so I guess we know who to blame for all the rough dunes when we get there on Friday.
  3. Sort of a weird setup with different springs and all but i seen this on CL and was gonna get them if it werent for the spring issue, maybe something you can use..... http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/mcy/1386019146.html

  7. Get up early on a Saturday morning....? yeah, I am gonna probably be late. Anyways, I have the two sets of coilover springs for 2 1/2" shocks that I have listed in the DDR classifieds, a pair of 2" King coilover shocks (10" of travel, 29" eye to eye, (NO resi's, secondary collar nuts or springs)), a pair of 8" stainless KC-1802 Hilites, an IOTA converter/charger DLS-55 w/IQ4, an RV crank-up TV antenna, stock Raptor 700 handlebars and heel-guards, aluminum heel guards for a Raptor 350...... and maybe a dog if he doesn't quit diggin' in my freakin back yard..... Thanks again Terry for puttin this all together!!!
  8. Most Excellent pics Jodi, you have a real talent. Looks like another great CP weekend. It is good to see Mike on a bike too...

  10. Dude, that thing is sweet!!!, especially the work bench in the front. Well done my friend.
  11. what are the dates that it is valid for? (is it valid for kickoff weekend??)
  12. So does that mean that they are $110 or $120 until the end of Sept?
  13. This is my daughter trying to see if she can give me a freakin coronary! :ah:
  14. I have only one circuit hot with the inverter, I ran romex from the inverter to a single throw breaker that I installed above the inverter, then ran it to a J-box that I installed behind my trailer's breaker panel, which happens to be under my refrigerator. I then pulled the wires that I wanted to remain hot from the the trailer's breaker and connected it to the wires in the J-box that I installed. When the shore line is used or the generator is running, the AC current travels through the transfer swich in the inverter/charger directly to the isolated circuit. If I store the trailer without a shoreline, then I just flip the breaker so it opens the circuit. This system works really well for what my needs are.
  15. 8 bills? You mean $800, and it's a 1000 Watt inverter/charger? Did you have it installed or DIY? Yes, I paid around $500 for the inverter(xantrex HF 1000), about $120 for cables, Romex, connectors, j-box, breaker and high amp fuse (dont forget the fuse!!) and about $150 for the install. I did some of the install myself but had an electrician hook it up to the panel and run the romex... "a man has got to know his limitations"
  16. I just installed a xantrex 1000w inverter/charger in my hauler, I was looking for something that was strong enough to run my TVs, satallite and other small stuff without having to run the generator.... it seemed like a waste to have a 65kw generator running about 160 watts. We still have to fire it up to run the AC, microwave, compressor, coffee pot and the wife's hair "tools". I am still running off of (2) 12v batteries without any problems. It is nice to set the channels only once and not everytime the kids want to watch tv or play video games. I was able to isolate one circuit that was looped through both TVs and the front room of the 5th wheel. There are 3 general grades of inverters; True or (Pure) Sinewave, Modified Sinewave & Square Sinewave. The cost for the Square sinewave is considerably cheaper but you will not be happy with the results, the pure sinewave is much more expensive; however, you can run very sensitive electronics with it. Make sure you go with either Modified Signwave or Pure sinewave. with the square sinewave, you will get the "snow" or "fuzz" in your TV or audio equipt. One last piece of info, I opted to go with an inverter/charger because some RV chargers cause "line noise" and it keeps things cleaner and simpler under the hood. Cost was also a factor......I was able to purchase and install for about 8 bills. I hope this helps....
  17. sorry 'bout that ynot, the Smokin Al's comment was made in jest... but the swap meet idea is a great, it also gives us another opportunity to "meet and greet" with other DDR members, not to mention an excuse to toss back a few beers
  18. I am in too, sounds like a great idea.... maybe we could get Smokin' Al's to serve grub
  19. Looks like a great trip Jodi.... pics are beautiful.... we had a blast at the night drags... it was just over way too soon
  20. :beer_bang: got to admit, that was funny.
  21. It has been a couple years, but I was actually able to find my receipts for the contractor who did mine. I paid $9.00 a sq ft, I am not sure what the going price is today however I am sure you could get a good deal with construction being slow. The name of the company is Landscape Visions (Lic.#63001) The guys name is Sabian and the phone# is 657-8857. Make sure you pull your permit. I got dinged for twice the permit price because they started work before I paid for the permit. They did a great job, they were in and out in like 6 hours. hope this helps. If you decide to do it yourself, there is a place on Pecos and Gowan in NLV who gives wholesale prices for DIY'rs.
  22. The one thing that jumps out at me is something that Brice (Sandseeker) told me a few years ago, if someone is selling something and they didn't fix the "easy fixes";i.e., tuning the carbs .... then it should raise suspicion about the regular PM that was done on it.... I am not saying it wasn't, just saying that you should keep in the back of your mind......
  23. Congrats Brett, I must say that the last two pics in your post are "classic Brett Style".....
