  9. Hey Cole, The Dumont article was above that one. Are you lookin' for donations or something bro? Maybe we can get a DDR piggybank going for ya.
  10. Dumont made the front page of our local news paper yesterday. As I started reading it I was getting worried that they were going to bash the crap out of our D. But suprisingly NOT. There was some issues like carelessness and bad behavior. They interviewed one guy from Rancho Cucamonga that has been going to D at least 15years. He had nothing but Great things to say. He shared how D is a family place. Also Larry Blaine from the BLM added many comments about how D IS under control. He said this is NO Glamis. and they encourage families to D. He talked about the fees paying for the toilets, police, medical crew, and permanent improvements. Also that the North Pole tradition started perhaps 30years ago. Maybe when Pete was born. Another interview of a lady from Pleasanton shares how they cooked 5 turkeys for 18hours in the sand at little D. Overall it was a positive aritcle. I'm glad to see that for sure.
  11. NICE! Teach em' young. Last week in Glamis: We camped down the washes (wash 10). So, when leaving I'm driving my whole rig down the dirt road and some jackarses on quads are flyin' down right past my truck. Well, as they get by, all I could see and hear is rocks bouncin' off my whole setup. I wanted to follow them and do doughnuts in the middle of their camp with my sandcar. Damn I was pist. :rant_on: People, try to have courtesy for the camps and rigs out there. Is it that hard to put yourselfs in others shoes?? Son-of-a
  12. Come on bro! Soooo, I thought it had more travel. Who designed that crap anyways. I'll stick to the sand. You in?
  13. You mean "I should mill some more that fit a Sand Sprite"? There is a post on here from quite a while back with all the Billet stuff I made. I'll have to look for a link on those. Grant @ Funco used to call that car the 'one-off ' car. A little ........ IT !
  14. You got it Kayla. Just let me know when you go out again and I'll bring the tools. A sharpie, jig saw, and my dremmel with a sanding drum. It's a cool mod.
  15. Ahhh, I don't know about that one Sean. My dad bought me this 06' a couple years ago. If I don't get a new one this year I'll kick em in the nads. I wish .................... Here's my pops >>>
  16. Ever have a tough time turning your fuel on and off on your YFZ? I trimmed the plastic a bit to have better access to the valve. Worked Awesome. Yiah Yiah Check it...
  17. Sounds like an Awesome week(end). Great pics Pete, as usual. I guess I missed out on dunin' with Cheese. The car "whatever it is" ... That's Shawn's squareback with a Honda 3.2. Pauly had a whip? WTF is really going on? 6 wasn't enough for Wingnut. Paintballs Especially not good for corrugated siding. Glad everyone had a safe trip. We went to Glamis last weekend. It was awesome to be out there again. :mc_smiley: I'm really lookin' forward to Dumont soon. Possibly the 8th. R-
  18. This weekend I did the following: 1. Replaced the 'in carb' spring with the lighter Ebay one. 2. Spliced the TORS wires at the bike harness. 3. Removed the 'in thumb throttle' spring. 4. Repositioned the thumb throttle. Seems a lot softer. We'll see the next time out. Haven't received the Cascade lever yet, but if it's needed I'll put that on too. Thanks to everyone for sharing their knowledge. R-
  19. Yeah, We saw one scootin' right up Olds last weekend in Glamis. I've had the image in the mind of this one with the suspension kit on it since this post started. All's I think is Yiah Yiah It's way cool. Man I really dig on these RZRs. Makes me do the
  20. Coronas all day @ Grimace's. :chug: Mega feast :jester: I'll take you word on the chip seasoned paws.
  21. This has ran through my mind many times. I love my trailer...... but, I've got a 25'er with only 15.5ft of storage I'd love to have a 5th wheel, but flipping the axles is too scary for me. My truck has a 7" lift. I've though about removing the lift and putting on 35" tires, so I could get a 5th. OR, sell the whole rig and get a Cummins and a 5th. That's what wingnut would do if he had my set-up. Do you need more storage???
  22. My girlfriend and I have an 04' YFZ450. The throttle is a little stiffer than we'd like it to be. We want to keep the thumb. Don't want a Twist. I bought a softer spring on Ebay to put in the carb. Supposed to reduce the resistance 30% min. I haven't put it in yet, but I have a couple questions. Can I remove the 'Throttle override system' (TORS) on this quad? Do people take the TORS off when they put a twist on theirs? Then I could take out the spring in the thumb box to soften it up even more. I remember removing it from my 87' Banshee years ago. Any Help is way appreciated. Thanks, R-
  23. "Fight fire with fire"------Metalica Hey G, I almost fell into the fire at Wingnut's bachelor party like four times. I was so from painterjoe's mixed drink and inhailin' a whole cigar. I said "Eff this, I'm out!" just in time. I wasn't burnt in the morning, but I did feel like I got ran over by Babert's truck or some chit like dat. All I'm sayin' is 'Neosporin' and of course ice cold BEER. Heal up bud. R-
