Pete, since this is the first meeting of the new group i doubt there is an agenda for it other than to set the chairman and other other such positions. We will set up our mission statement and a meeting schedule. I am sure their will be an open forum for anyone to ask questions or bring up new items. Probably some discussion of grant money etc. Mr. Cheese it is always on our minds to do at least 1 if not 2 Sat. meetings and we will continue to push for those again. I am still driving down if any one wants a ride. Terry

I am bringing out some fox pants, alpinestar tech 8 bots size 10.5. A trailer mover, an off road heavy duty jack, some harley stuff, helmets, leathers etc. Some rv parts etc. jurt a mish mash of stuff I have collected over the years including some kids pants and an extra helmet or 2.

Although my dad has long passed I still do things that we used to do together. But very time I go to the desert it reminds me of when my dad and I took his VW bug and went out looking for old ghost towns and looking for old bottles etc. He always used to drink Hamm's beer in the can that looked like a mini keg. We took 22's and would shoot and spend the day in the desert. Unfortunately his health failed before I could get him to the dunes. He would have thought it was beautiful but wouldn't have enjoyed the speed rides. I don't know where I got that from but my love for the desert came directly from him.

Tables, ez ups would be a good idea.

Why would you want to title it in the first place? If the state of NV finds out it will want to charge you sales tax If your going to sell it just do a bill of sale and if you wanted to be sure of the vin#ask metro to run it for you and have them put it on the back of their business card as being clear on that date.etc. Terry

First meeting of the new Dumont Sub-Group is Tuesday September 15th at 10:00 A.M. At the Barstow BLM office. I will be driving down from Vegas so if anybody is interested in attending I always prefer having somebody to drive with so let me know if you want to attend. Terry

BLM announced today that the DAC has accepted nine people to be on the Sub Group for Dumont Dunes. This group replaces the TRT which was the previous group which assisted the users and the BLM with issues and the use of the fee money. The new members are; Sub Group Members 1. Randy Banis - DAC 2.Gerry Hillier - SB County 3. Ed Waldheim - CA OHV 4. Jim Bramham - CA OHV 5. Kathy Stosuy - CA OHV 6. Terry Allen - NV OHV 7. John Dalgleish _ Friends of Dumont 8. William Presch - Biological / Science 9. Brian Brown - Local Community I would hope that we will have a meeting before October and I will let you all know when I hear of the date.

Coffee business is off about 10% from last year but with a great landlord and a loyal customer base we are keeping our head above water. We will be putting on events to help bring business including a really great concert in October for 75 people. Musican's name is John Badorff and he is a very talented singer/songwriter that we're working on setting up.

OK we are going to do this on Sat. September 19th starting at 7AM till Noon. Set up will be between 6AM and 7AM. After that no vehicles will be allowed to come in or remain in the sale area. I would suggest an EZ up and a table. If we have more than 36 vendors we will put spaces in the middle of the parking lot. I will get flyer's ASAP. So start going through your trailer, garage, gear bag and see what you can live without! If you want to sell a quad or bike please leave them in your truck and take people to look at them. There isn't enough room in the parking areas for trailers. Pizza restaurant is looking into doing a breakfast pizza and of course we will have pastries and coffee at my shop. Looking forward to seeing everybody make a little money. Terry

No problem, I will try to get the restaurant to open at 9 instead of 10 and maybe come up with a breakfast burrito or something if anybody would want it. I will have pastries, donuts etc at my store also. I think it might be fun and provide peeps with some cash so they can make that extra dune trip and clean up the garage at the same time.

I could get some led flashlights and some duct tape and make it a package deal just for you if you have cash in advance
