There is nothing I like better than to hear a slam on Starbucks! Maybe if people went more to the mom and pop stores there will be a better selection in the future. The big corporations will always be here but the mom and pops depend on peeps helping them during tuff times. But then again my opinion might be a little slanted!

Don't know hwat that is but there are places that make RX goggles. They are not that expensive and work well. Hope that helps

I have decided to slow down in my old age so I have the car at the shop having both turbos removed and the engine de tuned. Consider it about as fast as a Rzr -s. From here on in I am into just putting along and watching the speed junkies (fools that they are) go blowing by me making me eat the sand I used to throw. I will be a happy camper, I will be a happy camper, I will be a happy camper, do you think this would work if I just keep repeating it to myself?

I doubt that fees are going to go up and I also can assure you that if they want to fence the whole area of Dumont I will be the first one throwing a fit. I believe that the Needles dry lake is in the BLM district office of Needles and not Barstow.

I run a set of Bilsteins on my 06 rhino with 2 1/2 offset wheels. First of all they are like riding in a bmw and they were cheaper than the kings and fox shocks. Bilstein has a great rep and I would suggest you look into them while your looking. Second thing I did to make the ride better was install a set of PRP seats and crow belts. Makes the rhino a comfy ride!

My yfz doesn't get ridden much and lately it's been popping and the bike seems to be putting off a lot of heat more than they are supposed to. I need to get it ready for a trip to Utah and am looking for someone that knows these bikes. Any suggestions? The bike is completly stock except for a K&N filter. Thanks, Terry

I can put you in touch with Shawn Thompson from Thompson's drywall. He is a jeep club member and does great work and would help a fellow off roader out. Let me know if you want his contact info.

I would like to take credit but Larry Blaine at BLM was kind enough to solve the question.

I can speak to the dealer. Johnny Walker is a pleasure to deal with and their service dept. has always taken care of me and the people I have referred them. If you want to know about the trailer go to the Boulder and Flamingo store and talk to the service manager Ken. He will tell you if there a problem trailer or how strong the company stands behind it. If you go to buy it talk to Pat at the main store and tell him I sent you he will take great care of you and make you a smokin deal. He is the sales manager and has always been good to anybody I have sent over there. I don't work there but have friends who do and it amazes me how many have been at that dealership for long periods of time like 20-30 years etc. That says something for the dealership and it's owners. Jill, I have always stayed at Sandhills resort but am thinking about the blm campground next time. Can you get info for me on how it is and how you make reservations, prices etc. BTW the drop offs are really only on the way back from the big dunes so you hit them when you're really tired:)

I had also thought of doing something like this at my shop probably in Sept. just before we go get them dirty in October. I think we could have both since i am on the Southwest and you are towards the north?

Camping world has a product that works great! http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/bug-bust/21249 this one I have used and can attest to it working, this one looks like it does the same thing but I would be worried about it taking the wax off; http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/...r-remover/47616

I got awakened last night by my wife screaming, she was letting the dogs out about 1:30 AM and stepped on one of those bastards by the back door. They do cause a lot of pain for several hours but it eventually stops about 3-4 hours in. I have been stung 3 times in my own bed(got rid of my water bed because of those things) She has now been stung twice both times near the back door. Everybody in Las Vegas has them it's just a matter of time and looking for them that you find them. Palm Canyon had a huge lawsuit several years ago as the developer bought loads of Palm Trees in from AZ. that were not sprayed down and they had a infestation all over the area. Slowly they moved across the freeway and now are all over section 19 in Henderson where I live. Due to the large yards they have lots of places to hide and this is the time of year they really start coming out. BTW that thing is about the biggest one I have ever seen. The one that got her last night was about 3-4 inches total.

Uhh Reed was second in the final, Villapoto won going away. Reed put the move on Stewart in the long sweeper in the back area out behind the scoreboard. I don't think anybody at the races could have seen it. it was one of those just for tv moves. I don't think Stewart would have risked the title just to take reed out but Reed had nothing to lose except his reputation and well he has always been known as a dirty rider. I think Stewart played the smart move and just stayed no further back than 4th to win the overall. That's where the money and bragging rights come from. He won the war not just one battle.

I watched the races from home and thought both finals were exciting. But the cheap azz move Reed put on Stewart was in a word Chickensh@t! It just showed a poor loser who's only chance to win was to put Stewart off the track and out of the race. Not a proud moment if he had done so. It was apparent that Reed was looking for a cheap shot when he wouldn't pass Stewart who basically moved over for him to pass earlier in the race. I am glad James had enough sense to know it was coming and protect himself and the championship. Looked like you guys had a fun night though. Let's see some pics Pete!
