patient because Im typing with one hand! A coworker of mine suggested i go with him to the boulder city track today with him and since i havnt been i thought i would give it a try. everything was awesome at first. i was jumping my quad on some pretty good jumps. i was really enjoying myself and getting very comfortable. then all the sudden i went to jump my bike again but my front nose dived which in turn smashed my face, chest and neck into the handlebars of my quad. :dayum: i bit my tounge pretty hard as well and got some cool bruises on my face! anyways my wrist got tweaked pretty good and i ended up breaking it all the way through the joint. tomorrow i go and see a specialist (same one that did surgery on my ankle a year ago) to see if i need surgery. lets keep our fingers crossed that surgery isnt required. :dunno: anyways the track was a lot of fun and suggest you should try it if you have not already! i will go again once im healed! fun stuff!!

I know the feeling all too well, Chad. Like I told ya yesterday though...you gotta seat in my buggy until you heal up. That way you can still make some trips. We'll just bring ya out a few extra cases of beer. :beerpint: Monkie will probably gladly ride your badass Raptor in the meantime.

Let me know if you need anything. I'll make the drive to BFE for whatever.

Thanks guys for the support. Just got home from the specialist and here is where I stand...Im screwed :beerpint: broken wrist in two places, they had to reset it today and I will have to do another check up in a week. If next weeks check up isnt good then I need surgery to place some pins in. Basically the wrist is broken on a very sensitive spot where it could keep breaking itself over and over. If next weeks x ray doesnt show signs of healing then the big "S" word is needed. It could have been a lot worst so Im grateful for that. I wont miss Dumont no matter what this season since I got started late last season! Thanks again everyone! Heres some pics at the Doc's office today>

  • 2 weeks later...

Today my doctor called me to tell me Know that my last x Ray looked really good and that surgery will not be required. :beercheers: I was really gonna hate that so this is great news. Next Thursday they will cut my cast size down a bit so I can bend my arm again and then probably will need to wear it for another 4 weeks or so. After that they will give me a Velcro support to wear as needed. I told my doctor that no matter what happens I need to have this cast off by late October! When I told him why he laughed!! :P
