lee camped with wade this time. they have been friends for years, but lee usually doesn't camp with him.....i THINK lee said he hadn't been to dunes for like a year?...had some moho problems i think.

great pics pete! i see you got some pics of wade horn's blue and yellow desert dynamics car. we had jerry welchel showing him some driving tips for the weekend and lee taking pics too. really nice car ...bullet proof. wade did a lot of the assembly himself. awesome weather.

camera sent yesterday..............why is it there's a line out the front door of the post office AFTER christmas....sheesh.....anyways, just glad to se it back to it's owner!

just dickin' with him....thanks for the link sandy,but it IS a nice camera....was wishin' he lost a charging cable with it too...until i found an owner....i looked for that sanrail in the camera for the 2 days i was there but never saw it....even looked for his camp cause it has pics of motorhomes and trailers too.... hadn't had time to look in lost-n-found yet. i' know it's his cause there's pics in it of three vehicles in the pics above. he musta been camped at the little dunes. i will call him soon. btw....it's in perfect condition.

i was amazed that my verizon phone worked almost everywhere this time(12-29 to 12-31). usually it's very spotty. also worked from entrance road to baker a good part of the way when i left the dunes. usually i have to wait til i go under the power lines at like 16 miles from baker before it works again. got a new phone a few months ago(lg).

just pointing out your typo there........you MUST have meant bribe....not bride.....a bribe mite make things happen out there!...just talked to a friend out there and they just got back from the creek...they said something about a girl and a leprechaun crossing with no problem.....too many margarita's or were they talking about a leprechaun motorhome........we are heading out now to be there in 3 hours.

i say stick that wiener in the sand and see if anything sticks to it!

rolled in friday night after dark with a trailer full of bikes and most of my family. it has been like 5 months since i've been on the bambarduhyay so me and my 19y/o son decide to go on a night run to comp and maybe further? we decide to make it longer and end up riding from one end dam near to the other and back.....i haven't been on a night run that long in years, so by the time i got back my wife had already had me declared legally dead! i knew it had to be early up sat morning with that wind and it sure didn't dissapoint. really nice the first couple runs and we milked it bigtime....stayed on those bikes all morning til it got pretty tore up(thank gawd for bombardier). next up is my 9y/o son runs into a pickup in the afternoon and that was amajor bummer. he was alright but the pickup wasn't.....coulda been worse i suppose. trick-or-treating went well for the kids.....more candy than they will be allowed to eat. found THE ddr camp(s) in the process....gotta camp with those guys someday cause they KNOW how to dune! sunday i got to take my 9 and 10y/olds on their first trail ride on the 250's.....they have made a lot of progress lately and i was so proud of them! last rides i got were in wades desert dynamics ls7 powered dual sport buggy.....sweeeeet......i guess that will have to do until thanksgiving.

my kids usually do way better at dumont than in the housing tracts near our home in hesperia....more than they can carry in about an hour. be sure and tell the kids race gas is accepted (if they forgot to bring candy).....better git-r-duuun saturday nite though, cause everyone will be gone by sunday afternoon....i will be handing out king size snickers or reeses p-nut butter cups as usual when my kids get done trick-or-treating.......and yes, dumont is a VERY dangerous place for a kid!(or an adult for that matter).

noticed a scene filmed in sand dunes launching a jeep or other 4x4(just caught a glimpse)....anyone know anything about it? BTW....my spellchick noticed the typo in the description line, but i'm leaving it there for pete's enjoyment....he LOVE'S typo's i hear.

that is a trailer that would probly work for you but it needs to be registered. i had one a few years ago and it served it's purpose very well indeed.

in cali if so much as one wheel is on the ground it must be registered(and insured of course). which means not even tow dolly for you. if it's towed you need no registration, but keep in mind that lots of trails cross or share "street legal only" roads that you won't be able to "legally" drive on.

usually see them every monday afternoon at bear valley and apple valley road....stop and ask for some info....be advised, they are all afraid of infiltration by ACORN and others. read a story last week that people are getting into the tea parties just to shout racial slurrs and such to get negative media attention to try to destroy the movement. i personally have'nt seen anything of the sort....just a buch of FORMER republicans and even a few democrats pis*ed about how much of our money the politicians are stealing from us. i looked online and was surprised at how little contact information there is out there connected to the tea party movement.....guess they're skeered of the long arm of the US gubmint.

ummmm....don't look now, but the american people are too stupid to stop this madness! i was at a tea party the other day in apple valley and MAYBE 100 people were there. i guess only 100 people know how to read in apple valley, cause if you read a little on the internet you will see BIG problems for US real soon. too busy watching dancing with the stars i spose. oh well, it was fun while it lasted. btw...who's on idol tonight?

i used to raise yorkies and they are the BEST guard dog there is! you mite be disappointed with your "vicious" guard dog pitbull, rottie, german shepherd.....but that yorkie (or any other little "yappie" dog)will let you know before the guy gets anywhere near your house that he's coming because they are small and pay attention to threats coming their way. big dogs have defences that don't require them to pay so much attention. i've owned both. just be mindful that there's a good chance you won't see them coming and they get the drop on you. my friend was H/I a few months ago(she moved out too btw). she was napping in the living room watching tv. guy sees her through opening in blinds, another guy goes through open bathroom window, by the time she hears fluttering blinds...wakes up to knife at throat. throws her on bed duct tapes her....asking where stuff is....where's the $$$$ bitc*.....she gets free while they're looking goes out back door to neighbor(naked)....never caught the SOB's. MIGHT have been different if she had a yapper. one thing i think should be done is leave a little stash of money(a few twenties or hundreds, depending on yer money situation) and just give them the money while the rest of the big money is safe somewhere else. btw...while this girl is telling me the story while i'm working, one of my customers tells me when i get off the phone he got H/I a few weeks ago too! almost beat him to DEATH! yaw daaaam rite it's gettin' dicey out there! be ready to scream like a little girl too if someone gets the drop on you.....if there's no noise they won't be worried if neighbors heard anything and can take their time beatin' the shi* outa yuh.
