  1. I don't think the dent would be too much of a problem with my plans with it. We may be headed up there June 12 weekend..... Not totally sure though. I'll PM ya as soon as I find out. R-
  2. I'd buy this at a reasonable price if you could hold it till I'm up that way. I live in SoCal. I do want a frame for my next build. Do you know if it's been registered within the last 7 years? R-
  3. I know most of the DDR peeps that went to the regatta already have seen my latest, So I'm postin' to show the rest of ya's. This is the same rebuild Red 70 that I posted earlier in this thread. This one is "hopefully" complete. And Jeremy, I do owe you them overalls bro. You were right about the frame backbone. I used your jack method to straighten it. Worked out PERFECT. Thanks man. :worthless_without_pics: I'm starting another that will be quite a bit different. More comfy to ride and a lot faster... Check it yO...
  4. Hey John, I could fix them threads. I'd probably put it on the conventional lathe, Set it up for that thread pitch and thread from the good threads out to the end. This way there would be no cross threading. Also like Dave and Chris said, You could take it to an auto repair shop or use a die / thread chaser. A thread file may work too if you had it on a lathe. Make sure if you have to hammer on the end of a threaded shaft that you thread a couple nuts on there first then use a softer material between the nut/shaft and the hammer. Let us know what your approach is going to be. R-
  5. Where are you located? Do you have the title on this frame? Thanks, R-
  6. Hey Johnny, Don't give up on your build buddy. I'd like to see some pics of your situation. I will call you tomorrow. We can figure something out man. Yiah, R-

  11. Hey Andy, He's gonna shred the dunes. ^^^ Awesome gift man. Happy Birthday to your boy. ------------------------------------ Here's some of our little guy... Ryder He's 8.5 months old now. This one was a couple months ago in Costco. :atc: . . . This one's a couple weeks ago @ a friends house. . . . Here's a more recent one. . R-
  12. Sounds like lack-of sump is the problem to me. I have a small sump on mine, and it starts starving at 1/4 tank in hard turns. ( kinda like a reserve ). Imagine where the fuel goes when you are having a WOT situation and hookin' thee effff through a turn while cambered on a dune .... Is there any room to add a sump to your current tank? I'm not a fan of putting the pickup on the end of the tank, but a sump large enough should get you through the situation above. I'd try that route before buying a new pump. Maybe a custom fab tank is your answer though?? :ahhhhh: R-
  13. Gonna be a loooooong summer at this rate. I'm feelin' some strong jonezzzin' already. :flatbiller: That's how I like the dunes right there. Glad you guys went out. Cool pics too Pete. R-

  16. I have a tongue trailer (not 5th wheel) with a gvwr of 13k. My total rig loaded weighs just under 22k. So I went to the DMV and took the endorsement test and got a restriction 41 on my license. The DMV said that I can tow my tongue trailer with this endorsement. They weren't very confident until they called Sacramento for the info. EVERYTHING I've read and heard other than from the DMV was that endorsement only covers 5th wheels 10k-15k gvwr, and that I need a non-commercial class A or regular class A to tow my trailer with a gvwr over 10k. Even the DMV handbook says this. The guys at ToyHaulerHooligans.com seem to know their stuff about these issues. I'm still not totally sure. I think the registration should have the laws and regulations on them so everyone would know what the legalities are. R-
  17. I'm out for the rest of the season. I think.. BUT, LouB and THE HEG are headed out this weekend mmmmANg. Hook up wid dem fools yO. Have fun everyone, and as always.... Don't dune anything I wouldn't dune. R-
  18. That was cool Rob. Nice job. Thanks for taking the time puttin' it together. I have quite a bit of video that I need to work on something. Also, I dig on the camera position in your car too. I usually put mine on the roof, but your spot is better foe schizzz. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharin' mANg. R-

  21. Yes you did Jorge! I forgot to pull my black tank lever while pulling out of camp, so I just dumped there at Valero. Glad you had a great trip man. :porn: We had a great trip too. Dune runs in the car Friday. The hill was perfect for >>> Dune runs in the car Saturday too. When the wind kicked up Saturday we just stayed in camp mostly. Come evening we had a full trailer with Painterjoe's liquor bottles and friends. We watched Manny “Pacman” Pacquaio Beat The Snot Out Of Joshua Clottey (boxing). Sunday I jumped on the YFZ and chased Joe and LouB around in their cars. :argue: Greg 'The Heg' .079 lead back to camp. The fresh dunes were super smooth on Sunday, EXCEPT for the top of Comp on the left side. :angry2: Whitney got to clean up around camp, and Ryder got another dune trip under his belt. All in All great trip. However we shoulda stole some 311 fans to top off the weekend. Just sayin' That was probably our last trip for the season. I'm gonna tear down my car for a huge overhaul/ maintenance session. Trans, CV's, Heim's, bushings, wheel bearing pack. couple chassis mods, fuel filter, ETC. The Honda's still tickin' Don't ask why! Good to see everyone, R-
