glad I wasn't the only one that saw that weird sky lol....thought the alcohol was talkin. when I saw it the moon wasn't quite up yet and all you could see was the glow and the contrails

pretty sure you need to have your Nevada sticker on if it's registered there. the Nevada sticker is good in cali.

and to add, let us all know what happened maybe not in detail but issues that came up that possibly can be avoided so that word can get around to help prevent incidents like the one that happened....educate us. losing a friend is hard, I've lost a few myself....but I've put it out there things that happened that could be avoided to help prevent repeat occurrences. no one in this thread came on here and wanted to put out bad information, they were only putting out what was said. every incident that has happened out at Dumont that involved a death has been posted in here to help educate others, the stories are not put on here with any intent other than to help.

It was really nice there, we stayed right across from the store right as you pull into egin lakes when I was up there a few weeks ago

the pass to get back to comp/banshee was super soft/sandy as well.

I noticed those straight walls and lots of the lines were cut up by the wind

they always stay at egin lakes.

I have friends at St Anthony this weekend and they sent a picture. I was at St Anthony for the previous one.

yup...good designed full tanks should be what people use if they need them....I was at choke cherry and saw a rzr with FIVE gas cans....normal ones at that right after that 1 rzr caught fire. his friend had 2 of them in the back of his. We mentioned something to them and they tightened the caps and all down but still.....I wouldn't want a gas can back there unless it was designed for that.

Apparently people have not read about the number of fires caused by people putting gas tanks in the back of their RZR's. All it takes is a drop of gas to spill out on to a hot exhaust/motor/belt etc and it will go up in flames fast! Most burn to the ground even with the attempt to put the fire out. Just too much plastic to burn. There were a few RZR's that caught on fire in glamis last year and there have been 2 at St Anthony so far this year. One happening this weekend from a couple that borrowed their friends XP to go out and have fun in the dunes....that couple made it out, the previous rzr that caught on fire didn't have as much luck and he is still in the hospital. Please it is NOT WORTH IT to have to carry extra gas, if you need extra don't go out so far. Please spread the word to your friends and have them spread the word to their friends.

I was there a couple weeks ago and the dunes are a lot different it looked to me....be careful

I took the scenic route around the gorge when I went a month or so ago. There were nice little towns just before you get to St George.

pretty sure i saw that guy with the green bike on my way home from coral pink.....i think it was around logandale and he was on the side of the 15....maybe it wasn't him but the bike looked familiar....the one i saw had a clear tank on it as well
