  1. That's good cause I wouldn't want to have to throw up on you :mc_smiley:
  2. ROFLMFAO President, does that mean we have to call you Sir?
  3. Hey responsibilities require my presence elsewhere It's what comes with age, you to will find out someday
  4. Pete, I am trying to get out of here Thursday night. It will depend on if the sign guy will hook up with me after hours in Pahrump or if I have to meet him Friday AM. If so then Friday morning I will be there. Do we have any more plans on pot luck and a DDR ride time?
  5. I will be there. I am camping right across from the host's area near #5. Pete hopefully you guys will be near enough to walk to?
  6. Welcome aboard Harley! Are you associated with the Orleans Hotel?
  7. Did it recover? :shocked2: Did you try to work a deal with the owner Tom? He was pretty good to talk with and gave a nice prize to the FoDD raffle.
  8. I was at Nevada Suzuki yesterday talking to the owner(who donated a nice prize for the clean-up) He told me he has received 10 and the 1 on the showroom floor was the only one left. It had been on the floor for 3 hours and that was the longest any of them had been out. So far he said they had no problems and no warranty work.
  9. That's called the Sperry Wash Trail. I must admit that I have not been on that trail as I do not take knobby tires with me to the dunes. That being said I know the jeep club and other volunteers put up markers a couple of years ago. I believe you can follow it all the way back to Tecopa. I do not know of a online map but you can try the Ca. Blm office web site. I found this info on it. Note it says the area is a nature area with no vehicles allowed. However the last map shows the Sperry Wash Trail to be useable to OHV. http://www.blm.gov/ca/barstow/amargosa.html Good luck
  10. Nick ,sorry was not really paying attention. Anyway Steve, The SU trailer and cars will be out at Dumont for clean up if you can make it. I am sure they will be glad to take you for a ride and tell you what they have.
  11. Situation changed for us. We will NOT be going to the dunes this weekend. Have to hold off of my fix till Friday of clean up weekend. Maybe I will leave Thursday night so I can get a jump on fresh sand on Friday Morning.
  12. Just a FYI the owner of Extreme motorsports on Gibson has a 5 seat car with the LS 1 still in the crate. A Mendi 2D and lot's of other things. It is not complete but he is willing to sell it for 45K. You might call him and talk to him. I am not sure who the frame is but at least it's an option. I agree with Pete, saftey is the utmost concern. Also keep in mind that the rear engine cars are a lot longer in the azz and make it a little harder to fit them in a trailer espically without changing paddles. Like Pete said take your time and look used. I got lucky with mine just as Don did.
  13. Thanks for the info Pete, He is going on the list. I will stop by and see him!
  14. Sandm, I am in charge of the raffle drawing so if you want to make a donation we would appreciate it. Who are you affiliated with, Shop? Let me know when and where and I will pick up. We also have some ad space left on the back of the t shirts for $250.00 if you interested. Terry
  15. Same as Pete blow all the dirt/sand off that I can. Then I use a Ca. duster to wipe it down and go over all the frame and a-arms with a soft towel. I do not use Water and soap.
  16. We are going out that weekend and then again for the clean up. Season coming to an end way to fast. I need to make the most of it.
  17. It is not the same as the web site you listed. This one has 2 wireless door sensors and the siren, control box and key fobs for about $100.00 less for DDR members. I will have some marketing materials in next week and will let you know. Thanks for the interest.
  18. Can you help me find! Your a$$ with both hands?
  19. Nuttin special. Just ask ynot Sure is not quite as pretty as my old stock purple/yellow machine but I have to admit it, it's a hella of a lot faster!
  20. Well as i have seen this issue before i became interested in trailer security. After researching it i found a wireless system that once installed it would have a shock sensor along with door sensors. If the door sensor is breached the siren goes off and the trailer brakes are locked. The shock sensor(if someone was to hook up the trailer) would also set off the running lights and lock the trailer brakes. I have become a dealer for these units and will receive my first shipment of them next week. It is about a 2 hour install job but has excellent instructions and support. For DDR members I will sell them for $305.00 which includes 2 door sensors, siren, 2 key fobs and the alarm unit. If you have more than 2 doors that you want to alarm the wireless senors are $53.00 each or you can get a hardwire one for $10.00 and it is a simple wire set up. I will be installing this unit on my trailer and would be glad to demonstrate it. If anyone is interested let me know. Terry
  21. Oh, sh*t, I have been found out. Hello, my name is Terry and I am a sand addict.
  22. True enough, but I have to fumble my way through some stuff by myself. Otherwise how will I learn?
