  4. Pat, you old fart, you are all over the page these days! Dementsha finally getting the best of you?
  5. I know this coach and can vouch for it's condition. This is a great deal on an impecable motorhome that has seen lots of care. Can't loose looking this one over!! Terry
  6. The only reason I didn't refer them to Butch's was the last time I was there they didn't look like they had any in inventory. Also i didn't notice if it was a vegas resident.
  7. Red Art Super Strap. They come in 1" and 2" width and varying lengths. I carry a 1" in the sand car and a 2" in the Motorhome. Here is there link. Please tell them that Friends of Dumont Dunes referred you, It helps when we ask for donations at the clean up! Thanks, Terry http://www.redart.com/
  8. Here's a few of my two dogs while riding Sperry Wash and the UTV Jamboree in Northern CA. in June of this year.
  9. Neal, yes her name is Karen Fisher & her dog CoCo. She's a good friend of mine. What do you need to get from her or I can have her call or e mail you. I will forward this to her. Terry
  10. Congrats Pete! Your about to see things you never dreamed possible. Just remember even if it looks small, gentle and you want to touch it, don't. I almost touched a catipillar looking creature only to listen to my little voice. Found out on the boat that it injects the needles into your skin and is downright painful. Have fun, be safe and don't take any wooden sand dollars.
  11. This can be true, however even with coughing up a little bit to get it up to par it becomes a very good deal on high dollar equiptment
  12. Buying your own mask, fins, booties and snorkel(if you use one) are pretty much a gotta have. I personally like having my own regulator, computer and buoycompensator. I was a warm water diver and kust packed a "Skin" type dive suit when we travelled. I hated diving cold water and haven't been in it in a long time. Diving in the Caribeian, South Pacific spoils you for sure. Buying used gear is probably the best way to accumulate your stuff as people go in full blast, then for whatever reason they bail. It sets and they pretty much give it away, even when they hadn't planned on it. Terry

    Oh man the Silver Alumicraft would have had me hocking my wife and everything else I have for it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice car!
  16. Right now it's looking like we will probably not have the poker run this year. The low turnout last year due to I believe the economy made it pretty much unprofitable for us to do. We ahve decided to see how things look next year Terry
  17. Nice Run Mike! We are going up to Coral this Thursday afternoon and staying in the meadows till Sunday. It's just the wife, grandson and another friend with a quad so if anybody wants to come up and join us there more than welcome. Weather is looking pretty good with high's just getting to 80 degrees with cool crisp nights! AHHH Dune TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Thanks Pete, it was on my things to do list today. Just a FYI, these comment's must be completed and in to BLM via e mail or snail mail by 09-30-11 So please even if you didn't attend the meeting make your concerns heard. Items to be aware of, at some point they are going to do post & cable to keep vehicles off of the side hills espically up as the wash gets closer to China ranch and down by the dunes themselves to prevent coming across the flats and up and over the ridges to gain access to the wash. Unless you want the whole trip up Sperry wash to be red posts and cable you may want to make a comment about losing the natural beauty of the wash . Also what certain busisnesses in Tecopa want this to go through so that they can gain business in the Eco-Tourism business on trails and trailheads built and paid for by US the taxpayer. Do a little reading by Goggling "Armagossa Wild and Scenic River" you will be amazed how much is on the net about this and it on almost if not all of the pages except for actual BLM pages they direct you in one way or another to a certain "Ranch". Just for the good of the OHV community I ask that you not use the wash and the county road(which is illegal) to visit this certain "Ranch" and buy products from them. They are not our friends believe me. Your dollars are going to the Eco-Terroists who want to use our tax dollars to make more money for themselves! In any other business you have to invest your own money to advertise and bring guests to your business. Not this place, they got the river closed off many years ago under the AECE act and there is really no easy access to the river. Now with the "Scenic" part of the river they can petition BLM to make a road across the AECE to permit access to trails we are going to pay for. You guys see anything wrong with that picture? Please do a little reading and make youself heard! I guarantee they will be back after the 5 miles of "Recreational" area we got out of the total of about 40 miles of river/canyon area. All it will take is a different administration and changes in the Barstow office. Terry

    FAT!

    Pretty bad that her second set are biggger than her first set } }
  20. I actually am starting to see that happen Mike. Little rough at the start but I think we can see some bonding on this and will look for more as we go. Terry
  21. Mark, I am looking at seats also and I had read that the Vortex seats were a problem getting in and out of the RZR.and also have a leg room issue to the dash, and are difficult to get the seat out due to handle release in the back. Are you finding these items as a problem? I am looking at the PRP's also. Terry
  22. Nope I will be taking the Old tecopa road. Fastest way to get there. Watch out for the Super troopers!
  23. Pat I am pretty sure the Town Community Center is located across from the hot springs on hot Springs rd.It would be the place you would have paid your dump fees if you have ever dumped your tanks at the RV park It may be 5 minutes off of HWY 127 on Hot Springs road and to the left
  24. Ok, I just got off the phone with BLM. The reason the meeting was set upwithout a comment period is that they didn't think there would be enough people attending to justify a court reporter and the expense that goes with that. Now that they see there may be a pretty good size group they have decided to allow an "open " mic set-up so if anyone as comments or suggestions than there will be a time for it. However they will take notes but you are going to have to put it in e-mail form if you want it in there record. They do want to hear about what we have to say 2) There are no plans to close Sperry wash at any time to OHV use. The trailhead and river crossing to Dumont have been "Cherry stemmed" into the wild and wilderness river bill and can not be played with or changed. This was confirmed with the BLM area manager last week in a phone conversation. #) Yes the fencing team is hard at work on the east side of the T&T railroad bed. However they are only post & cabling some of it as it gets close to the dune's edges and the intrusion's have been the worst. The T&T rail bed is open and will remain so. There was an instince that the post& cable be set up so that when it crosses the T&T just near the north pole of Dumont that there will be access to the railbed without a gate of any type. I believe they are going to do some kind of off set line. That post and cable will then continue out aways towards the south pole to keep again the highest area's of intrusions to the closed areas and the AECE areas established a long time ago. So they want us there, I believe we should give them what they want. They did ask that we not bring to many tomato's to throw at them if possible. I told them that we use rocks and hand grenades! I look forward to seeing how this all turns out. I doubt we will make the Brown's and Sorrel's happy but "Frankly Scarlet I don't give a Dam!
