  1. Looks to smooth to be a random theft. Would be willing to bet it was an inside job. One of the 2 works there or near there or was a previous empliyee. he knew exactly how to get in the gate and what size ball on the trailer. To quick of a theft not to have been done by somebody inside IMHO. I hate Theives!
  2. I know you can buy a hand pump that by moving the handle up and down it will build pressure and usually just start a prime and it will siphon till you relaease pressure. They are cheap but do the job. I bought an air powered pump from outback extreme a few years ago and it is fantastic. You hook up an air compressor and then pressureize the tank and pull the handle on the gas line. Unfortunety due to CARB reg's in CA. they don't sell them anymore but I did call them and they will try to find out where they might be able to be purchased from. I can take pictures of mine and I think with a little knowledge and a trip to a couple of home depot and hose compamanies you could make one. I bought mine for less than $100.00. ou would need to find a 55 gallon bung firring with a air pressure release and a line in and one out. The rest of the stuff you should find fairly easily. When thye contact me I will let you know.
  3. Not your fault Bruce but welcome to the world of large corporations. They usually don't know their right from their left. I was told they were not going to meet there hiring quota, well no duh if this the way they are going about it. Do you have the ladies name and # in LV? If so can you PM to me I would like to take another shot at it, persistence sometimes works. Thanks, Terry
  4. Positive to + and negative to - they are wired in sequence so if you look at your main wires they run from + to + and - to -. So charge it just like a regular set up.
  5. Pat, on a small inverter like you have you shouldn't have to re-charge the batteries for more than a couple of hours max. If you have the ability on the smart charger to adjust the amount of charge going to the batteries you can set it on high when you need to charge the batteries for the night. i usually run my gen fo a couple of hours just before and during dinner and then I am good to go all night. I know my system is a little different but that should work for you. Alos you could get the "smart charger" model # and google it. It should give you your charging times.
  6. I have had 2 old school VW cars over the years and for the mechanically inclined they would be a lot cheaper to work with. However having never claimed to be mechanically inclined it costs bucks either way and personally I will take the suspsnsion and HP on a LT car any day. It is part of the "E" ticket ride. Not saying anything bad about old school cars but having had some and moving up to a LT car there is no option for me. Terry
  7. I went through the whole process and after waiting for about a month i called the coroprate HR and was given the local recruiter's number. First she told me that they were looking for people with previous chemical plant experience(although the ad only stated experience preferred) Also they had several catagories according to how you scored on the online test results. I was told that the hiring manager was only interested in the top Tier(Perfect Matches) I was told that I was in the second level(good fit). I was advised that I was pretty much SOL. Oh well that's how it goes but it would have been nice if they notified those who put the amount of time to fill out the application. Terry
  8. Great Video! Really wicked seeing the sand flying back into the lights off of Pete's car. Good job. Terry
  9. To be honest with you Pat I haven't ven looked at them in years. Thay have been stored in a shed under the sun cover for quite awhile. I even think there is an extra back tire and wheel with them. Now that the Motorhome is out of the way I was able to get in there and saw them and thought I need to get rid of them as I no longer have a Rhino. I believe they are in pretty good shape but you are welcome to come over and take a look. I will be around all week except for Thursday. Just give me a call before you come by as I have a few errands to run and could be away for a bit. Terry

Well I can tell you that there is no predicting the weather at Dumnt this far in advance. You can go to the weather section on this site and look at the history for Shoshone, Ca. That can give you an idea. It is usually chilly if not downright cold, but it also can be one of the nicer weekends as the air is clear and crisp. Tent camping is always a gamble any time of the year at Dumont. You might look into renting a RV with all of you pitching in it might not be to bad $$ wise. Even if you can't fit everybody in there to sleep it would always be a place you can run to if the wind should come up and keep the sand out of your meals. New Years is one of those hit and miss "big" weekends. Sometimes it's really busy and others it's almost an off weekend. Be safe, try to find someone going out who will show you the dunes and kind of take you under there wing, Dumont can hurt you in a blink of an eye. they are highly techanical dunes and can definetly put a hurt on you or put a smile on your face you never forget. I would keep an eye on the posts here about who's going out and maybe ask for a "newbie" tour. People on here are usually more than glad to give you a tour. Terry
  11. I don't want any more wheels to vehicles I don't own. How about a 12 pack of Alaskan Amber and their your and you can keep your old wheels too?
  12. Make me an offer and come get them out of my storage cabinet. No shipping will meet for delivery if convienent or you can pick up in Henderson.
  13. I guess I am going to have to look into the springs. So where did you have the camera mounted? Did you use one of their mounts or make one up yourself?
  14. Nice job Steve! So do you find it easier on the back? The only problem I have with the RZR is the short "G" outs where the a$$ end slams pretty hard, that can tend to make you feel em. Driving the RZR is a lot of fun and I also had the chance to really get out over thanksgiving and have some fun in it. A little different than i am used to but fun is fun!!
  15. Steve, just a heads up the Odessy 925 fits sideways perfectly in my 2011 RZR and i would think it should fit in yours the same. Plenty of power to run lights and my in car radio set up. They are a little pricey but in these days WTF isn't? Terry
  16. Motor home is in the shop otherwise i would be in. If it ends up being a minor problem I could be in. Right now I am on a wait for a diagnoses and see.
  17. If I would have known that it would have caused such a problem I would have just called you. i just thought that it would contact the "on-call" mod and he could answer the question. So how would I do that as not to have a foo pah next time? JJ your right it is a great coach and has been cared for in all ways. Somebody is miising out on a deal on it!
  18. Jenna is a cheap $3.95 whore on ebay she will let anybody buy her. I am sure the antenna will be more than that!!
  19. Some where near the back of the comp hill valley i heard a metal tap sound on the roof, thought it was a rock or something. Looks like my car to car radio ant. and my striiper good luck charm took a dive off the car. Anyone find her and or the antenna? I would really like the antenna back as it was an exact tuned match for my radio, as for Jenna well you know strippers they come and go and can be replaced pretty cheap. if anybody happened to find it sat evening or Sunday please contact me. Thanks
  20. Don't feel sorry for us, any day at the dunes is better than being in town so although the dunes won't be as smooth, they will still be there and so will I !!!!!!
  21. Arriving Thursday 11 AM be camped near #9 till Sunday afternoon. White Alfa M/h wiyh 30"enclosed trailer. Come by and say hi or go for a ride. Terry
  22. Good Sam club offers a flight insurance plan for any flight 100 miles from home for $89.00 per person or $109.00 for a family package. I have had it , let it lapse and am probably going to get it again. Insurance companies always find a way to wiggle so I am looking to get another back up. They also pay to get your RV, family and pets home and should you pass away they will handle the details as to transporting the remains back home. I think it's well worth it and I don't think you hae to be a Good sam Member. Here is the link; http://www.goodsameaplus.com/benefits.aspx
