5 of us had a EPIC day at dumont today. total of 8 rigs in all dumont and we had 2 of them. only 2 buggies no other quads. we made as many tracks as we could hit every area at least once (burned a tank and a half of fuel happy earthday) was 70 when we got there around 10am. 90 with a growing breeze at 4pm when we left. was very hard to read the dunes the first few hours then got much better after 1pm. the razors were tall, sharp, and on the camp side were soft like baby powder no tracks very smooth many witches eyes. comp hill was looking very different like the wind had blown down the hill. on the left side there is a large transition at the bottom instead of the steep hill running right into the ground like normal lately. and the starting hump was less then half as deep as it was last time i was out. no bubbles no troubles this was my 1 year anniversary of my ankle break at dumont and the same group of friends randy kenny adam plus his wife loren this time. no crashes or breakdowns just sunburns and smiles...

DDR road trip!!

As this is one year to the day at the same time i was being wheeled into the hospital. i thought i would bring this thread to the top. would like to say thanks to everyone that helped me out. took the doctors office starbucks and flowers this week. today i feel 95% ankle gives me few problems. it is a little deformed on the inside and doesnt like tight boots yet but hope to get some riding boots over the summer that will work. i do have a full set of nerf bars with heal guards now. sure glad that was last year and not this year work was better then and it was easier to manage 4 months down. the first big job i did when i went back to work i over did and was down for another 3 weeks. but life is good now the season went well only 1 minor crash. looking to add a sidexside with the 450r next year. here are some pics that were deleted.

i know the local is 357 and there office is on boulder hwy. i work around them and they seem to make good $$ and have work.

so ynot when you have the time to dig it out let me know. i owe you a trip to the coffee shop soon anyway

i want to do a grand canyon trip never been. take the trailer for a few days.

everytime i hear about age restrictions i think about all the rhino babysitting going on. ever trip out i see kids young under 10 hauling around in rhinos. they dont look around they are mostly unsupervised and i have almost been hit a few times. i think laws on the books already cover this but i havent ever seen one stopped by the leos. if they would enforce laws they have i dont see a need for more restrictive ones. comes back to personal responsibility, if you have TAUGHT your child how to ride and be safe. had them grow with the right machines then i would be mad about this law also. but if you just give them the keys and away they go then you get knee jerk laws like this that punish everyone.
