And this isn't for the sand, but it's my newest toy. I'm really looking forward to some more dual sport rides during the upcoming cooler months. I am SO jonzen!!! Thats a great pic of your Xr!! looks like a Xr 650L... I have a Xr 650R and we do a LOT of desert riding from here in Big Bear to Barstow and sometimes to State Line... I cant wait to get in some good Sand and Desert riding!! Some friends and I are doing another Mojave Road ride.. Going from Peggy Sues resturant in barstow, through Afton Canyon down into Soda Dry lake bed, up to Baker than to the Avi Casino in Laughlin Nv.. Gotta love Desert runs!!
