Last night I went down to visit Anna at her new gig and take some pics. In addition to her TWO other jobs laughing.gif, she is now also a safety diver for the Mermaid show in the big tank in the Silverton Casino. She tends to the divers and monitors the mermaids as well as some other aquarium duties. She was looking for something fun to do on the side for some extra cash and she for sure found it. I am so proud of her. She has taken her career as an aquarist to the top and loving every minute of it. Not many of us have half as much fun as she does while at work.

Here are some pics I took. (She is the scuba diver, not the mermaid btw.)

congrats!Something fun for a job...we should all be so lucky! One of the most memorable things I've done was scuba diving off catalina for a buddies bachelor party. It was pretty darn fun! Got about 200 pics from it too.

Just 1 thought, though:

...watch out for that stingray...CRANNNKKKKIE... :shake::laughing:

Nothing like doing what you love while working or having a passion like scuba diving and being able to find a particular job that allows you to do it and get paid.

I just recently became a certified EMT and scored a gig on the weekends working for a medic/search & rescue team that works at off road atv/motorcycle events in the surrounding deserts here in cali, I ride all day looking for hurt or injured riders while riding the course. Being able to help people and ride my atv all day doesent get any better to me..

Congrats on the job!!

The Mirage is still by bread, but everything else is my butter. And most of the guys I know in SCUBA are fat!

Let's do a quick lake dive! It really isn't that cold, I was just out there. I only went to about 40ft but it was fine in a 7ml.
