I know for thanksgiving people normally go out for a longer period of time. I know I try and go out for 5 nights and have more people staying with me. Doghouse Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 We will be pulling in on Thursday late afternoon and the guy from BLM was encouraging once he saw our rigs! He said the perfect spot for us was at the end of Vendors Row... Do you guys agree with that? I've been a vendor there for a while and I can tell you that a 'spot' on the row is in the eye of the vendor. Some vendors believe a position is important. I don't and many times I have been up the row, down the row and at the end of the row. It hasn't mattered. Now if you were selling the same thing as 5 other vendors, it might make a difference if you had a spot closer to one end rather than the end of the row waay out there, because people are only willing to walk so far. On the other hand, you'll be the only shower vendor there so I gaurantee you, with that rig pictured, you'll be found. Now, for those that will tell you, Doghouse always tries to get the end spot, yes I do, because I want a large area for my sandrail customers to park when they pull up. On the 'row' you don't get that luxury. You'll want to save a big spot with some plastic fencing around you so your customers can park since they'll be there a while. ninjagreengirl Posted October 12, 2009 Share Posted October 12, 2009 These showers ROCK! we do not even use our trailer shower at the NHRA races in April and October, except for on Sunday cause they do not open early enough......and we have to be on TV on Sundays! lol We will not be there for Halloween, but we will be using these because we will be at the Drag races using them!!! I give two thumbs up and if you want a hot nice shower while at the dunes, this will be the place to be! What a great thing to have out there!! I think alot of people will definitely take advantage of it even if they have a motorhome or hauler with a shower. Grey tanks fill up fast and water runs out if they have a family or alot of people.
