Show some pics of your previous cars??? I have pics of my last three. I have owned 6 all together, these are the last three. First is a Sandcars Unlimited mid-engine with built 2180 VW motor, then I had the Ricochet performance with 2.5 turbo Subie and mendeola, then the car I have now. Prior to those, I had a sandsprite 6 that i never completed, a custom chasis with a turbo ford 2.0, and a chenny with a 1915 VW motor.

I am on my fourth car, they have all been Tatums, and all were exceptional cars!

Here they are in order:

1st was a Sand Demon with a turbo 2.0 Subaru.

I have only had two cars and I'm on my second car now. My first buggy was a b-day present from my wife, she bought it with trailer and spare parts for a whopping $2500 and it ran like a champ!! It was a two seater Chenworth frame car with a 1600cc VW engine that I tried to blow up but couldn't. My second and current car is a Prowlers Sand Sprite 4 Dual Sport 4 seater mid-travel car with a 2275cc VW in it. This car runs like a champ also especially now that I put fuel injection on it. The family and I have a blast in it!!!!!...... :rainbow1: post-17-1138087999_thumb.jpgpost-17-1138088056_thumb.jpg

Hey JJ,

I don't have any money, just debt, doing my best to help the economy along! :rainbow1:

But I will tell you the LV realestate market has been kind!

Nice rails....but you have a SandSprite 5 Dual Sport.

You had me worried...I have a SandSprite 4 - mid engine (no travel!!) so I went here to check it out.

This is my first rail, and it's on the 2nd season....hoping to go to powder coat in the off season. It's a blast even with a 1835 in it. Someday I hope it will grow up into a LT rail. I really like the Tatum a lot.

Hey DDR Peeps,

Here are pics of my old car.

I sold it to my Bro a couple years ago.

He will be out with us this season.

As you should be able to tell, I have pleanty of hours in this car ( in the machine shop ).

I used to keep it at the shop and think of new billet parts daily.

All the machining took place about 10 years ago.

Please consider Inspirnetics for YOUR machining needs.

Enjoy,

R-

I dont care who you are, what you have owned, or what you have been in but you havent gone on a buggy ride untill you have been in this car through the dunes.

I have never been in or even seen anything as fast as these cars through the dunes.

I was a nervous reck after getting out of this car but it was worth it.

1st car red v8rail overhead cam cobra motor 2365 lb wasnt sure if the car worked well when i had it built but i liked the concept of strong drive train so i went with it! (worked great in the dunes! :headbang1:

2nd car v8rail started and almost finished and gave to another costomer to build t-rex

3rd car v8rail t-rex started out natuarally aspirated 521 bb ford 3600lbs 700hp. ran good but just not fast enough for the hill! wanted to shut the mouths of people who said my tank would never be fast on the hill!

added turbos and then it ran good enough for me!

4th car v-rex coming soon!!!!!! 572 cid brodex t.t. i want the car to be around 3000 lbs but if not no big deal! as long as it is under 3500lbs i will be happy.
