Henderson Police on ATV's This pic is dated 2004, but the article was written April 09. http://rmltman.wordpress.com/2009/04/21/tr...kes-many-forms/ (copied) The River Mountains Loop Trail within the City of Henderson falls under the Federal land management of the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR); however, enforcement of trail rules, ordinances and NRS falls to the City of Henderson Police and to a lesser degree the Parks and Recreation Departments. The RMLT from Railroad Pass on the south to Lake Mead National Recreation Area on the Northeast is patrolled by the Henderson Police Dept. using a variety of modes or forms of transportation. On any given day or hour of the day you may see HPD trucks, cars, motorcycles, ATV’s, bicycles, and even horses patrolling along the trail corridor. Their patrols are for user safety. The trail has been GPS’d and trail mileage markers are used for reference points. You will also see Trail Watch volunteers wearing orange vests along the trail through out the day. These volunteers are trained to be the “eyes and ears” on all of Henderson’s trails. Again for the safety of trail users.

The trails there are pretty easy and you could take your daughter in the rhino without a problem. A lot of the area is sandy and not dusty, there is also desert riding but that shouldn't be too dusty either unless it is a little windy out.

Hey look a reply that is actually completely on topic after how many pages of unrelated nonsense??? Great reply ...I completely agree, especially with the having a drivers license point. What ever happened to that law about kids under 16 needing to be supervised by an adult to be riding/driving anything at the dunes? They are concerned with enforcing kids of certain ages riding certain size quads, but has kids in side x sides or rails been addressed? That seems to be a bigger, more dangerous issue. So does anyone have any more info or updates to this incident? I hope the injured kids are okay.

I had a 98 Ford Ranger 4x4 years ago, it was a nice looking truck with a small lift and all terrain tires, bright red....but it was a POS...we made good friends with the shop on the corner cause I don't know how many times we had to roll it down there glad my ex got stuck with it in the divorce! It was a joke directed at Pauly Paul.... I have an LTR and the parking brake has been removed. Pauly Paul who rides super fast has an LTR which has a parking brake, we raced last weekend and mine is faster, so we were trying to figure out why . I'll be putting the parking brake back on mine and switching out the control unit along with my bars and grips, maybe I'll take some pics and post a new thread about it . :shoot: Oh yeah...Wingnut where is my control unit :clown: .

Tried that..also tried leaving it open all the time and it still sticks. The check valve is the problem and yes it makes all the burners look like they are on low. Trying to figure out how to keep that valve from sticking is the trick. So far throwing the tank in the air and letting it hit the ground is the only thing that has been working, but it sucks having to take it out eveytime we want to grill. Been through 2 new tanks...they both did it . Already got rid of the old one and have been through 2 new tanks with the same problem on both of them. I think the guy said something about the expired one exploding and we didn't want to end up with an explosion like Wingy :shoot: .
