  1. http://www.vegas.com/attractions/ This site probably has the most info on Vegas...shows, food, hotels, etc.
  2. Most usually camp near bathroom #6 in between the finger dunes.
  3. Hope Indy gets better quickly give him some hugs from me. Chubs is on meds for his knees and the vet said to get him down to around 65lbs so he can get around better, he has a tumor in his neck that can't be removed, but he is still in good spirits. I need to bring Chubby by your camp some trip so the old guys can lay in the sand together away from the puppies .
  4. Cole...sucks you had a lot of trouble...but at least you didn't blow the motor . But I gotta ask...you guys going to be able to get that hauler over Potosi . So was driving what you expected it to be like? I know I was scared and thrilled at the same time when I first drove the rail, but it got easier each time.
  5. Last year all the tables were accessible from the flats so that kids could get to them also, so dirt tires are fine also.
  6. Broken ez-up frames Saw the camp loading up, came by later and the ez-up and trash was left...it was a bunch of from Cali
  7. We were the ONLY peeps in the building. It is awesome being able to check out shows after hours . Great Tim!! You are welcome
  8. Haha...sorry...I could only have so many people ya know ...and I was at my limit. I thought Jim told Pauly I could get passes for the day time..my bad, but glad you guys made it and had a good time. Tim will probably post his after the show, he has a car here and said he has been busy. I'll try to get some of ours posted, I haven't even looked at them yet. Oh I'll go post some pics of Tank in the pet thread come see him some night.
  9. I took Sand~Snake, Bpguy and ISBB in after hours last night...Tim should have some really good pics, he took 225ish . Jim has some pics also, but we have been too busy to post them up. Did you guys get to see most everything? We spent a few hours and even with nobody in the building and driving a golf cart we didn't see it all...this place is huge .
  10. I duned the new car!! Thanks to Jim for making it drivable for me and teaching me to drive . No problems with the car, drove awesome all weekend. It is nice to not have to wrench on anything :kissass: . Quad ran great though I spent more time in the car than I usually do. Joe Duner is my favorite dune run leader . Great quiet little camp :kissass: . We brought home our new puppy, thanks Craig and Tiff . Can't wait for Thanksgiving, will be my 1st dune Thanksgiving :kissass: .
  11. Oh and Jodie.....If you want to take my quad for a ride up Comp or Banshee or try it out in the middle of the dunes for comparison sake just find me
  12. Everyone has their opinion, but it's my opinion based on my own experiences that a slip on exhaust, intake and jetting would be sufficient for her riding style, she is not a racer or hill shooter. She loves cruising around the dunes and it just having a little trouble on the big, soft stuff. I've ridden with her a number of times and with the set-up she had/has she is fighting the bike to be able to get around and keep up following rails. I had the same issues when I started riding a few years ago. I have a z400 with a HMF slip on, K&N intake, jetting, on haulers..we had another z400 set up the same but with a full Yoshi pipe and it was not any faster they actually keep up with stock 450's. I also have an ltr450 with a HMF slip on, K&N intake, pciii, on haulers.. it now goes up hills in 4th that it wouldn't pull 3rd when it was stock . We also have an yfz450 with a full Yoshi, K&N intake and jetting, on haulers...they run pretty close and both beat a few bikes up the hill.. though we don't spend much time at the hill anyway.
  13. You can get a decent slip on exhaust for about $200-250 new . He probably took the lid off the air box, make sure your filter is cleaned after every trip! You can get a better filter set-up for about $30-50. When you do those things you will have to re-jet your carb, which is pretty easy and jets are like $2 a piece. Start saving your pennies
  14. hmmm....Probably pretty close to your old ones anyway... :pumpkin: what you were running. Just keep the PSI down and you will get around just fine, these just have a different style paddle so they will turn and slide a little differently...not too much since you stayed with a molded V paddle and didn't switch to something completely different like a hauler straight paddle. Those V style paddles do turn better than straight paddles, but they don't climb up the dunes as well so you will still have to work to get up the steep soft stuff and over the razors...so just go faster!! You should be able to tell a difference in the front, those will stay on top of the sand better than the dirt tires and you will be able to turn better. I started with the same set up on my z400 2 years ago, I switched before last season and I was actually surprised at the difference just a tire could have. She had dirts on the fronts and paddles on the rear. Her riding skills have improved, so now she is basically fighting the bike to be able to get even better.

  16. http://www.accessclarkcounty.com/depts/par...oting_Park.aspx Clark County Shooting Park at 215/Decatur in the far north of town... Planned to open this December. http://www.ktnv.com/global/story.asp?S=10988166 http://www.kvbc.com/global/story.asp?s=10985963
  17. That is actually pretty common, they make screen rooms to enclose the ramp area also. They are an option on some manufacturers and there are universal ones to add on, but they seem to be pretty pricey. It looks like they are using a cable to hold the door up, couldn't be too hard to just make one and bolt it up.
  18. Congrats...remember to run about 3-4 psi front and rear...those rears are heavy tires, so stay on the throttle at the tops of the dunes and in the soft stuff or they are going to sink. You should definately be able to tell a difference now, just be careful not to crash while getting use to them . Next...upgrade your exhaust and intake :surrender:
  19. Maintenance party at our place . Bring your trailer too and I'll repack your bearings .
  20. I want to try these flavors BBQ, Sour Cream & Onion, Jalapeno Cheddar, Cajun, Parmesan Garlic Sounds yummy
  21. I have NV registration on my Z400 and it never expires . And yes it is good for Cali. It is a small white sticker with a blue border and blue writing that says NV OHV Registration and the registration #. You get it if you bought an OHV from an authorized dealer in NV and paid sales tax along with a 1 time $20 fee for registration. If all goes well then NV will have a registration/title program through the DMV in 2012.
  22. wow....... So Darrell...what does she ride?? no really.. Congrats, are you bringing her out to Dumont?
  23. There are dinosaurs there year round, he changes them every once in awhile. He adds seasonal decorations for the holidays. He recently added the ones on the roof along with some new ones in the yard. I've seen him out in the yard, he is an older guy, probably a retired Paleontologist. I wonder where he gets the dinosaurs, that green one is like 7 feet tall. I think I'm going to re-decorate the front yard .
