  1. They complained the next morning ! So all the "boys" got was laughed at after they left the office. As to your comment......LMFAO! My neck is a lighter shade of "Red" now. I guess the guy did ask if there was going to be anyone parked next to them for the next day or so. They wanted to move if there was anyone. Maybe they were worried that's one of their slide outs would bump the neighbors trailer .
  2. I just noticed something. Now don't accuse me of jumping to conclusions but....I just noticed it's two guys in that fancy MH..... I wonder??????? Bitchee...bitchee.....Do they know they are in Idaho? Really it's just a little sunburn on my neck! What were you thinking...You evil rascals.
  3. A guy pulls into the campground last evening with a nice expensive motorhome with an expensive tilting heavy duty aluminum trailer with a really nice long travel rail on it. I get up this morning and heard that he went to the campground manager and complained that the camp next to him had the nerve to have a campfire in their space. We do furnish burn barrels for camp fires. This guy, wearing a Glamis Tee shirt when he came in last night, said he couldn't leave his windows open because of the campfire. Is it just me or do some people have more money than brains, call themselves a duner, yet complains because someone lights a campfire when they are camping? I don't get it!
  4. I'm old so I'm entitled to a stupid statement or question if you will. Are you sure it is electric and not just a pull down bed?
  5. Not sure what goes on around this little berg for the 4th. Fireworks are outlawed on BLM property as you all know but we still end up having some good air shows.......
  6. Now Pete, do you think for a minute that I would rub it in that even though it is in the 90's up here this week it is far better than having to go through what you guys are. I don't wish that on anyone. The nice part here is that it get down into the 50's at night. sleeping weather for sure. With out a doubt coming up here for this summer is the best decision I have ever made! Have a happy 4th all. I know we will here! See Pete.....I'm only an Arse Hole part of the time!
  7. An age old saying: "Let the buyer beware." I'm not sure one persons opinion should determine whether or not somebody is able to sell something o n this forum. From an old mans past I remember someone saying; "Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one."
  8. As was said. It's just not cool to rank on somebody's item that they are trying to sell. It's like you ranked on the guys very expensive, very nice, very safe rail after just seeing some video footage from single angle. But then again, you are entitled to your opinion.
  9. As Alfred E. Newman would say: "What... me Worry?" 1/2 or less-Law enforcement 1/2 or less-medical 1/2 or less road maintenance It's like the drunk responded to a question. Do you have a drinking problem? He said Hell NO....I get drunk, fall down, pass out......NO PROBLEM! I guess these are the changes so many voted for!
  10. A narrative fit for a Travel folder Jodi and Pix to match! congats on your accomplishment!
  11. :You planning on buying me a rail "RALPH" I'd appreciate that!......
  12. That a cool idea Jim but.........consider who you are asking if "HE" Wants to perform manual labor
  13. Over 200 HP, and able to go to 300 with some mods. I haven't seen it run but my feeling is that it hauls or at least could. I've often wondered why the main side by side mfg's. haven't put a snow mobile engine in them.....You watch, it will happen some day if engineering permits it.
  14. Twin Bombardire snow mobile engines in an old style rail into a VW bus tranny. No clutch just runs it in 3rd gear....
  15. I'm not an EMT but when I volunteered at Lake Mead, for several years, on their Search and Rescue Team and as a boat operator I was involved in a lot of trauma. I didn't treat, but observed a lot. Thanks for the comment though!
  16. Here are a couple of my concerns. I never saw them or the first guy there that, I think said I'm an EMT didn't stabilize his cervical spine and let someone take his helmet off. I thought that the film ran the entire time. Maybe I'm wrong. Then the time it took for the guys to get out of the rail and get to the victim. I'm also confused that they didn't have O2 to administer or start an IV of Normal saline to prevent shock, especially since someone said he was in and out of consciousness (sp) Just some amature questions from an old man. Possibly they were just Basic Life Support Personnel and not advanced Life Support certified. Maybe it's only paramedics that can do that stuff. As you said at least he made it with minor injuries
  17. I know the point is to ride smart and safely! I am not a certified EMT but......the whole idea of the way the treatment was given and the response by the BLM EMS and EMT has me really not wanting to be hurt where ever this happened. I refrain from expanding my comments since I am so pro BLM rangers usually and the job they do . Ride Safe!
  18. I fought Webbers for three years on my VW. They tend to get sand in them ( idle circuit). Check the fuel pressure, they can only handle 2 1/2 or 3 lbs. pressure max. Some have good luck with them but an awful lot have problems. I put heavy high temp grease between the bottom of the air filter mount and the carb. to catch sand. That helped with the sand in the carb. There are a lot of internal parts in those carbs that are used for air fuel mixture options. Good luck with you issues
  19. Call first! If they haven't graded it yet, after the winter they had, the 4 miles would be brutal. If they have your in free!
  20. Ought to go this weekend Pete! Should be the last cool chance of the year.
