    how much hp do you want 50 ? 100 ? 200? cant make a real suggestion without knowing how much more you want. pete has given you the steps to a proper foundation. cnc heads the right cam . next of course is stroking the motor. what tranny are you running that curtails the hp you may want. so more info needed. a good place to check is cbm motorsports in ontario. ask for bruce.

    A cbm ls1 is NOT a gm ls1 this has been explained to you on other forums. including cbm offering you a trade back. your rail value actually is more desireable to many with a cbm motor than without. the ls1 is not the " holy grail" of motors nor a collectable motor it is just a motor. ls2 ls3 ls7 are more desirable than a lil bitty ls1 get over it !!!!
