Just finished this and he's been expecting something.... Oh yeah, another click it and then mouse over the lower right corner and click it again.
-
A "small V8", like a LS1?
-
ISBB, It looked like you didn't have a care in the world just cruisin, enjoying the moment.... Then it appeared some hot rodder showing off dusted your beer, and it looks like you had a "WTF?" moment.
-
After I weeded out the extra pics from the photo-op and the other goofs, oops, and WTFs I have 935 pics, thats = to 935,000 words! So taking pics prevents keyboad failure too
-
If a picture is worth a thousand words here's 2,000 words for fun. Every time I see these I think the same thing Randy said "could we have any more fun?"
-
That was just 1 pic of 5-6 passes of 8+ pics each, and each pass was different but just as sick Here's a solo of Urkel jumping. Another click it then mouse over lower right corner and click again for the big pic I'll post a Randog stitch pic soon
-
Another one of Randog, this hill is steep, could hardly balance just standing and here's Randy riding a wheelie and getting both rear tires off the sand
-
HAha, taking the shot was the easy part, getting those four pics color matched and light balanced is a beeyacharoni with all the sand and sky. But it keeps me busy and away from experimenting with improvised munitions and incendiary devices.
-
Another 1 from Regatta Sunday. Pete is getting dialed in with that camera, and lookout if he gets another lens you have to click this one, then mouse over the lower right corner and click it again.

So what's picking up the sand, the bottom arms? You can see the sand through the wheel.
-
I should put all of them on a DVD to give you at Dumont next time. What's different about the 99 in this pic?
-
I should know this as I have been duning quite awhile ..... but does sand smell like a smart fellow? How many smart fellows can smell smart sand? Or are you getting a lap dance by the Sandman? Wow, you'll have a Sandboni now for sure!
-
Would have never guessed it from just watching the events... you have gum or super glue on your shoe? kinda off topic but was on the Regatta weekend :?:
-
COMEDY CENTRAL AT DUMONT aka ATC 70 Regatta Majority I'll put in gallery but wanted to put a few choice ones here no setup needed here it's the tell tale signs that give away a problem drinker Bubba & Ricky Carbunkle going for it For a moment I thought break dancing was making a comeback

? bore squared not bore radius (bore/2) squared? It's been awhile

Like b370 says "it's better to have and not need than vice versa" and another one is "a 32 Seecamp on your ankle is better than a .45 Sig in the safe" . And no offense to anyone but dogs that bark at any and everything are ignored by neighbors over time. Female dogs, believe it or not, are the best for a "watch dog" especially if they ever had pups, they're less likely to roam and to neutralize a male dog slick thieves can put a female in heat in the yard. Very few train their dogs to not accept food not in their dish. There was an absolutely vicious red Doberman by where I worked years ago and everyone would walk way around from the fence from the parking lot, I gave him some french fries and we were best friends. Keep your handgun that's not in the safe for home protection in a rig attached to the underside of your bed (exactly where your hand goes when lying in bed)so a thief doesn't see it looking under the bed and shoot you with your own weapon when you surprise him when you get home, and keep your Acetylene torch heads in the safe and line the safe with the ammo cans so if the tard uses a torch he self cleans the gene pool. Doors are really easy to kick in even with 1" dead bolts if you don't have 4" screws through the strike plates and hinges into the frame. The 1st pic shows a bar that's easy to make and use to make the garage side doors or other obscure entry doors kick proof,Pic 2, if U R n 2 it, like I am, lol, you can make the garage door real tough to get through, interlocking sections, top, middle and bottom, secured into the floor and above the door, locked in unreachable location for a bolt cutter. 5/8" thick solid window bars don't hurt either along with stainless steel wire on top of the fence hooked to a horse shocker. If they get by all this there's other things you can do that you don't ever mention to anyone so liability for bodily injury isn't a done deal in court. If a thief sees a gun safe do you think he would still look for a hidden safe area behind a closet or wall cabinets?

While his head is up there he should look around for smackers, I think they're in season now

You know what the Mikuni trademark looks like so some shop doesn't sell you cheap copies that have the right diameter hole but run leaner because they have sharp edges and don't flow as well as the smooth tapered transitions of real Mikunis. Just in case --->it's a small square outline with a smaller square in one corner. Had the parts dept manager for Berts look at me the way a chicken does when I told them the jets weren't real Mikunis, he pointed to a plastic box that had Mikuni written with a SHARPIE on it and said "they came out of that box" like it was a revelation equivalent of a life changing event of biblical proportion, so I tossed a quarter in the box and asked him if that was a Mikuni quarter.

Block numbers only relate to the block, could have a few different cranks (stroke length)and cylinders (bore diameter). You might be able to take a straight length of wire through the spark plug hole and slowly turn the engine over by hand (ratchet on the crank pulley bolt) to get an idea of the stroke, can't think of anything at the moment for the bore except measure the outside of the cylinders and guessing at the cylinder wall thickness, been too long since the vw days. Somebody here probably will have an idea.
-
OK, endless chain is not a preference, you didn't have a masterlink. Thought maybe something "new and improved" was up with the links.
-
Hey Pete, here's a special icon fer ya
-
I can understand you being surprised by tracks in the sand

WD40 is OK but "liquid wrench" or "PB blaster" might be a better penetrating oil, walmart has all 3. You want to do all the little tricks at once if you can so the lug doesn't get galled. spray some of what you have and wait 5 min or so and take a long drift punch (or a long 1/2" extension, etc) and as big a hammer as you have and strike the center of the lug straight on a good solid hit or 2 and spray some more oil on. Try to loosen it, if it starts to turn just a little but doesn't get easier to be safe spray some more oil and let it sit overnight and try it again. If it's still the same have your impact ready and heat the lug with a acetylene torch, a little propane one if that's all you have access to but as much heat as you can quickly so as little heat as possible transfers and expands the stud too. Sometimes it will take a heating, strike it with a hammer and more oil. Whatever you do if it starts turning and after an 1/8th a turn or so it doesn't get easier or especially if it gets harder to turn stop before it gets galled and ruins the stud also. You may have to use an angle grinder if all else fails or a big breaker bar and pipe ext to break the stud and just replace it if it's easier than messing around with it. From now on use anti-sieze on the studs. good luck and post back what finally worked or what you did.
